Kindle Touch Reading Lights
Kindle Touch is amazing e-reader from Amazon which everybody loves for good reasons. But if you are reading on Kindle, there is no backlit screen and you will need external light source if you’re reading at night. When you choose a Kindle Touch reading light, there are three criteria to look for: 1.) weight, 2.) light intensities and 3.) easiness to clip on. We will be reviewing three amazing Kindle Touch reading lights based on these three criteria.
1. Belkin Clip-On Reading Light
Belkin Clip-On Reading Light is powerful, compact clip-on light for Kindle. It has three Super LEDs which give off a very warm reading light, which maybe too bright for some people. There are two brightness level settings. The clip will fit onto your Kindle with or without cover. For a naked Kindle – sans cover – this light will slide onto the Kindle, and will extend to fit over a Kindle with cover. The arm is fully adjustable and allows the light to be positioned in almost any angles you like. Design is pretty slim, and the clip base is wide. Good for balancing.
This light uses three AAAs batteries instead of small coin batteries used in watches. A welcoming change since it is easier to find AAA batteries than coin batteries. But one disadvantage of that is 3xAAA batteries add considerable amount of weight to your light.

2. M-Edge e-Luminator Kindle Booklight
M-Edge e-Luminator Kindle Booklight is lightweight and works seamlessly with most M-Edge jackets. Its fully adjustable flexible steel neck lets you fine-tune the light position and angle. The weight is very light, and since this only uses 1 AAA battery, the battery will not put on much noticeable weight. Battery life is long considering that it only uses one battery, allowing 20 hours of constant reading without dimming.
The on/off button is made with a soft touch sensor and it’s a sight to see the light turns off by slowly fading away. But the touch sensor makes it also easy to be turned on accidentally. There are three light intensities control, from low, medium to high. The light only illuminates the Kindle and not half of the room, so it is great to read at night on your bed without disturbing your spouse. The super bright LED lightbulb never needs replacing and the optical lens spreads the light evenly over your Kindle. Oh and you can use this light on old school books as well. That’s a plus point!
M-Edge e-Luminator Kindle Booklight comes in two colors: white and graphite. Both look great although some minimalists might prefer the white one.

3. Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle
Bright, even LED light illuminates the Kindle screen without any “hot spots”. Flexible neck adjusts to eliminate reflection or glare. Clip designed for Kindle. Clip width and depth insure secure, stable connection to the Kindle without interfering with the screen. This reading light is available in white and graphite colors.
Verso is very compact, and small enough to fold and put inside your purse or pocket. Clipping it on naked Kindle or even with a cover is easy enough. The flexible neck can be adjusted to eliminate glare or reflection. The design of Verso Clip-On Reading Light is done in such a way that it conforms to the shape of your Kindle. The light is bright enough that you don’t have to clip it directly on top of Kindle.
Verso is bright. But not glaring brightness which is annoying and can wake up your spouse if you are reading on the bed. The light it illuminates is perfect amount of natural looking light and very easy to the eyes.
